Terms of Engagement

Thanks for being here. If you’re reading this, it probably means we’re thinking about working together. That’s exciting.

Before we dive into ideas, design, or collaboration mode, here are the basics. This is how I work, what to expect, and the boundaries that keep things running smoothly on both sides.

What I Do

I’m a multidisciplinary creative who can jump in where you need me. Brand direction, strategy, visuals, comms, creative support, events, and everything in between.

My work blends thinking and doing. I bring big-picture insight along with hands-on help.

I Can Do a Lot, but I Don’t Do It All

I’m not a VA. I’m not a social media manager or a PPC expert. I don’t do cookie-cutter.

I bring originality, emotional intelligence, and a lot of lived experience.

That might look like:

  • Creative direction, brand input, or idea-shaping

  • Visual thinking and support on specific projects

  • Overflow help for agencies or creative teams

  • Presence work, from messaging to aesthetic development

  • Internal-facing culture or clarity support

  • A mix of strategy, words, visuals, and creative energy

Finding the Fit

Not every project will be the right fit, and that’s completely fine.

I work best with people who value mutual respect, honest communication, and creative collaboration. We’ll chat first to make sure it feels like a clear yes for both of us.

Rhythm and Boundaries

I respect your time, and I expect the same in return. I’m generally available during standard working hours and give each project my full attention.

While I am a machine when it comes to getting things done, I’m not an actual one. So 2AM messages will likely get a reply the next day. Weekends too, unless we’ve planned otherwise, are usually for rest, my husband, and my cat.

If you’re in a different time zone or need something outside the usual rhythm, just let me know. I’m flexible, but not always available on demand.

Scope

We’ll agree upfront on what’s included, what’s not, and what it costs.

If things shift, we’ll pause and reassess. No surprise fees, no blurred lines. Clear is kind.

Payment and Cancellation

We’ll confirm payment terms in writing before we begin. A deposit may be required to secure your spot.

If you need to pause or cancel, let me know as soon as possible. If work has already started, I’ll invoice for what’s been done.

For live sessions or booked time slots, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may be charged, and deposits are non-refundable.

I bring care and commitment to every project and ask for that same respect in return.

Creative Ownership

Anything made specifically for you is yours once payment is complete.

The way I work; my tools, methods, and processes – stays mine.

If I’d like to share the work publicly, I’ll always ask first.

Emergencies and Rush Work

Life happens. If something urgent comes up, I’ll try to help. Work outside usual scope or hours may come with an extra fee. Best to plan ahead where we can.

Trust and Confidentiality

Everything you share stays between us. I take your privacy seriously and won’t share your ideas or information without permission. Happy to sign an NDA.

Respect and Realness

I bring creativity, care, and focus to every project. I work best with people who meet me there.

Great collaborations are built on trust, clear communication, and the ability to laugh when things get weird. If something feels off, we talk about it. Simple as that.

That’s it.  If you have questions, just ask. Looking forward to working together.
